Canton Elite Jazz Dolls Show Corps is a competition marching unit and
twirling team just beginning our sixth year and have already won numerous
awards! We march and compete in 20 parades a year throughout Ohio and have
performed in the 2003 AXA Liberty Bowl halftime show and Beale Street Parade
in Memphis, TN.
We have been selected for
the 2004, 2006 & 2007 Community Choice Award at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Community
Parade and have performed halftime for the Canton Legends indoor football.
We also have students that compete as soloists in many
of the baton organizations and have formed a competition twirling team.
Our corps colors are pink, silver and black and
consists of a junior color guard; Senior flag line, senior, junior, juvenile
feature twirlers; senior, junior, juvenile majorette unit and percussion
section. Our twirlers are from the Stark County area including, Canton City,
Canton Local, East Canton, Sandy Valley, Plain Local, Northwest Local,
Perry Local and Tuslaw Local school districts. We also have students from
Kent State University and Bowling Green State University. They range in age
from 3 through 20.

The corps is directed by Karla Neff who is the
majorette advisor for Canton South High School and East Canton High School.
Our technical director is Bill
Quinlan who is a retired All American Parade judge.
All lessons are taught by Karla and she attends
contests and clinics to keep up to date on the latest twirling techniques.
